By exploring advanced diagnostic techniques, understanding the molecular and systemic factors influencing wound healing, and reviewing innovative therapies, attendees will gain the confidence to tackle challenging wound cases in their practice.

Alexxia Richmond APRN, AGPCNP-BC, CWS, CWOCN, CFCN

Wound Care NP | Excelled Healing

Alexxia is a board-certified gerontological nurse practitioner specializing in wound care. She graduated from the University of South Alabama's Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners program, and Emory University's WOCNEC program. She is a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS®) by the American Board of Wound Management, and a certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence and Foot Care Nurse through the WOCNCB. Driven by a commitment to clinical excellence and advocacy, Alexxia developed a mobile practice to provide specialty care to patients who traditionally lack access.

Joshua Grant
Joshua Grant PA-C, MCHS

Physician Associate

Josh is a board-certified Physician Associate with extensive experience in wound care and wound management, surgery, mentoring, teaching, and leadership. He is passionate about educating and partnering with his patients to develop a comprehensive approach to treatment. He graduated from the University of Washington MEDEX PA program and has also spent time on faculty with Johnson and Johnson speaking and lecturing regarding wound closure and peri-operative wound management. He believes that when patients are educated and involved in their care, outcomes can be greatly improved.
