Overview
Cari will discuss approaches to the patient with back pain; distinguishing acute from chronic, prevalence, causes, red flags, the assessment and use of diagnostic tools including Xray, CT, MRI, and nerve conduction testing. Treatment modalities will address pharmacological and non- pharmacological options including massage, PT, chiropractic care, trigger point injections, lifestyle changes, and Behavioral Health Integration/Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
