Furr High School Students in Need of Hygiene Kits
This spring our community outreach committee of Houston NAPNAP is partnering with Furr High School to assemble hygiene kits for students in need. The pandemic has left many of these students without resources and basic needs. We are working together with the liaison at Furr High School as he has requested us to put together items for impoverished students whose parents are unable to provide some basic hygiene items. Many of the students are at risk and will face challenges that are often overlooked. These challenges are not only due to poverty and difficult circumstances but also to the added stress of the pandemic causing mental stress, anxiety and depression.
As a chapter we are dedicated to the needs of our community and welcome the opportunity to serve others.
We are planning to assemble at least 50 hygiene kits:
Date: March 13th
Time: 10 am- 11 am
Address: St. Thomas Church, 4900 Jackwood, Houston 77096
RSVP if you can join us.
Please consider donating to these students either with monetary donations or by ordering hygiene items on our Amazon list.  Thank you for your generosity!
