Houston Area Chapter Community Outreach - Furr High School Student Hygiene kits

Personal hygiene kits for the high school students were put together this weekend. Our members purchased items off the Amazon wish list that was set up by our chapter Community Outreach Chair Christi Wargo. Additional monetary funds were provided by our chapter and individuals in order to purchase more items for the kits. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, razors, lip balm, mouthwash, body cleansing wipes, feminine products, snacks and a card with the National Suicide Hotline were included. Donalee Cushman (Community Outreach Co-Chair), Kelly Ruemmele (Secretary) and Bonnie Lanternier (Membership Chair) assembled the kits which will be presented later to the school after their Spring Break. We will definitely post those pictures for you. Congratulations to all who contributed to our community outreach project. Remember your NAPNAP membership dues help our local chapter activities too. Stay tuned for more opportunities to help our underserved children in our community.
