Kelsey Hull

Statement of Interest

My name is Kelsey Hull and I am interested in running for the position of Secretary for the Houston Chapter of NAPNAP. I have completed one year as a board member as the Community Outreach Co-Chair for NAPNAP and have grown as a leader in this organization by participating in community outreach events such as Kids Meals, partnering with local schools, Gigi’s Playhouse events, and supporting our chapter at our inaugural R.E.A.C.H. luncheon and Pediatric Potpourri.

NAPNAP has become an important aspect of my career and has taught me the importance of networking with other healthcare professionals in our field to support the children and families in the Houston area and beyond.

I believe I would be an asset as secretary for the Houston Chapter of NAPNAP because I have attended meetings throughout the year and understand the expectations of the role by observing our current secretary. I also believe I will make a great secretary because I am organized, detail-oriented and ensure that I follow up on requests/assignments in a timely manner.

I currently work as a Nurse Practitioner for Texas Children’s Urgent Care in multiple locations throughout the greater Houston area and see the need for health care education in the surrounding communities. I would love to help build a partnership between the Texas Children’s organization and NAPNAP to make a difference in the lives of the children we take care of daily.

Thank you for your consideration in serving as the Secretary for the Houston Chapter of NAPNAP.
