About the preceptor Tonia is looking for:
Located near Tucson, AZ.
I am a **Chamberlain University student** seeking a **primary care adult** clinical preceptor for **July 6–August 29, 2026**, for a total of **125 clinical hours**.
I am looking for an outpatient **Family Practice or Internal Medicine** setting that primarily sees **adult patients** and offers experience with preventive care/wellness visits, common acute concerns, and chronic disease management (e.g., **hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, asthma/COPD**, and other routine primary care conditions). Ideally, the preceptor is supportive and engaged in teaching, provides appropriate supervision, allows progressive independence, and offers regular feedback on clinical reasoning and patient management.
During the rotation, I hope to participate in patient interviews and physical exams, present patients, develop differential diagnoses and assessment/plan, provide patient education, assist with medication management, and order/review routine labs and diagnostics as allowed by site policy. The preceptor/site would also need to be willing to **verify hours** and complete any required **Chamberlain University evaluations/forms**.
The **125 hours** can typically be completed over this date range with a consistent schedule (often **1–2 clinic days per week**, depending on clinic hours and availability).
